“From a dead space to a living place”
We truly appreciate the support, donations and grants received to date, without which we would have been unable to achieve our objectives.
The donations we receive support numerous activities including the purchase for volunteers of Hi –Viz jackets, whistles, materials, tools and equipment. Most of our funds are allocated to building materials to enable us to make the many improvements that assist with accessible safe paths throughout the burial ground for both volunteers and visitors. We also undertake a grave restoration programme, family research and maintenance and protection of the environment.
In addition there are many “one off” costs as we reclaim more of the burial ground. We believe it is akin to “peeling an onion”, with new revelations and discoveries every week.

CO-OP COMMUNITY FUND DELIVERYING FUNDS FOR OUR CHARITY –PLEASE SUPPORT…..
As you are most probably aware we were selected by our local Co-op stores as their Local Good Cause for a second year, which ended on 30th October 2021. The campaign raised the magnificent sum of £3,688.67.
We were again selected as a local good cause for the Co-op Community Fund for the period April to October 2023 and were delighted to receive the generous sum of £2,365.20
Your support was much appreciated in a year when many fundraising opportunities and awarded funds were halted by the impact of Covid-19 and then to be selected again in 2023 was a priviledge. The Co-op revenues have been crucial for our development.
To re-register or join as a new member of the Co-op please select the link below or collect a leaflet in-store:
