Our “Time Team” uncovering the past

This video shows our Endoscope (miniature video camera)in action, filming underneath a long toppled memorial to uncover the inscription to three members of the Walker family of Farsley.

The inscription, discovered by the Endoscope reads:

”IN REMEMBRANCE OF ELIZABETH WALKER WIFE OF DANIEL WALKER CLOTH MANUFACTURER WHO DIED 10TH JUNE 1872 AGED 50 YEARS.

ALSO SARAH DAUGHTER OF THE ABOVE WHO DIED 1851 AGED 8 YEARS.

ALSO, THE ABOVE NAMED DANIEL WALKER WHO DIED NOVEMBER 12TH 1879 AGED 61 YEARS.”

This grave is in our "Old Ground" area and is titled F24.
