Our Inaugural Heritage Open Day

On Sunday, 22nd September 2019 we hosted our first Leeds Civic Trust Heritage Day Tour. It was the first opportunity for visitors to pre-book on a tour of the newly opened Farsley Rehoboth.

The demand to attend was so popular we required additional tours for the next four weekends with a total of 400 visitors. Included in page are some photographs taken by Emma Brown on her 2pm tour.

We received a grant from Leeds Civic Trust which funded maps, bottled water, ponchos and a white carnation for each visitor to place on a grave.

Unfortunately due to Covid-19 we were unable to host hold a Heritage Open Day in 2020.

We hope to be able to invite visitors back for the Leeds Civic Trust Heritage weekend in September 2021.

Please look out for details in our Visitor’s section. It is imperative you pre-book as our indemnity insurance only allows a maximum number of visitors per hour.
